"Are those pennies silver?"
"I don't get it."
"Cool! What's it for?"
I posted my plaque in my dorm hallway and did some homework in a nook nearby to watch. At first, no one really noticed, so I was forced to intercede. I pointed it out to a few hall-mates and received some oh-that's-cool-what's-it-for type comments, but then a few people noticed it on their own accord. My favorite was "Dude, why is there a shield in the hallway?"
It's not a shield, it's a crest. Get with it.
